Very few know that the gorgeous southern beauty Asin is a painter and has even had exhibitions of her paintings before joining the film industry. We come to hear that Asin also took lessons from the acclaimed painter T.Kaladharan who is also guru to renowned painter Bose Krishnamachari.
“Asin used to paint ever since she could hold a brush in hand –most of her paintings are freestyle on canvas. But ever since she’s joined the industry she has let go of it,” reveals a source. Recently Asin has started painting again, thanks to a chance meeting with her guru T. Kaladharan. “She met her guru when she had been to Kerala to receive the Pride of Kerala award after ages and told him that she’s started painting again. T.Kaladharan even told her to bring her paintings there so that an exhibition could be arranged.” She had her first exhibition at the age of seven.
